Scissors, one sharp and one blunt point, chrome plated, heavily corroded, maker unknown, mid 20th century, formerly the property of Thomas Pomfret Kilner.
These were probably used for nasal operations; the blunt end under the skin, and the sharp point within the nostril.
This came from an instrument case used by Thomas Pomfret Kilner (1890-1964) at Liverpool; see BAPRAS/ 242.
