Breast implant, 240 cl, probably silicone, maker unknown, late 20th century. Probably explanted in 1963. The textured surface of this breast implant was designed to limit capsule formation (the growth of scar tissue around the implant resulting in undesirable hardening of the breast). This type of implant was withdrawn around 1995.
