Description
Pear shaped diamond fraise, probably stainless steel, by Stryker, Michigan, late 20th century.
With original plastic packaging.
This would be used to grind down the surface of the skin, for example on patients with acne scarring. The procedure would result in the regrowth of skin with a much improved appearance, although the scarring would not be totally removed.
