Unknown instrument, with right-angled probe-like end, chrome plated, by Collin, France, mid 20th century, formerly the property of Thomas Pomfret Kilner.
This instrument would have been used either as a retractor for small parts such as nerves, or as a dissector or probe.
This came from an instrument case used by Thomas Pomfret Kilner (1890-1964) at Liverpool; see BAPRAS/ 242.
