Sir Arthur Everett Shipley, Master

Sir Arthur Shipley born 1861 admitted pensioner 1880; BA 1882/1884; MA 1888; Sc.D 1911. Elected 27th Master 1910. Reader in zoology 1908; FRS 1904 wrote many books on natural history; sat on many boards and Syndicates and served on Colonial Office investigations in Bermuda, the African Entomological Research Committee and Marine Biological Laboratory Naples. He was a contributor to the Encyclopoedia Britannica. He died in 1926.
