Christ's College Fellows' Building

View from Fellows' garden in colour 1945. Lithograph number 16/75. Richard Sell, who died aged 86 in 2008, was a stone lithographer and portraitist of rare quality. A superb draughtsman, he was greatly in demand for his pencil portraits, particularly from members of Cambridge University. see also cc00916, cc01405, cc01469.

Presented on the occasion of the Dinner organised in honour of Mr David Yale's 50 years as a Fellow of the College; another one was given by alumnus Andrew St George in 2025 and was in the Picture Store (cc00918a) then loaned to occupant of B8 in 2026
