Sir Anthony Alfred Caro, OM, CBE (born 8 March 1924 in New Malden, then in Surrey, died 2013) is an English abstract sculptor whose work is characterised by assemblies of metal using 'found' industrial objects. This is made of waxed steel. and was presented by the artist to the college in 1986/7
