Adm open scholarship 1920; Prendergast Student; Chancellor's Medal; Ph.D. !9XX; University lecturer and deputy Orator; Vice master of Christ's; Director of Classical Studies; Librarian 1945-71; Garden Steward; Keeper of the Plate; Some important antiquarian studies, including "The Church in Barnwell" 1939 and the pamphlet on the quincentenary of God's House, 1946; Also work for the Loeb Library and pamphlets on Anglicanism and episcopy 1958. Made the first catalogue of the college pictures. The photograph is one produced in 1980 from one in Little St Mary's Church, which he supported. He was a keen Morris dancer. The Ring performed in 1st Court as a memorial to him.
The plaque reads: "Dr Arthur Peck
College librarian 1945-1971, after whom this reading room is named, photo donated by Professor Geoffrey Martin 2019"
