Peter Lovett Fraser admitted sizar 1790 aged 17; BA 1795; MA 1798. Ordained Deacon 1795; Priest London 1797; He was elected a Finch and Baines Fellow in 1802; never held any college office. He was Chaplain to HRH the Duke of Cambridge. He was presented by the College absolutely to the Rectory of Kegworth and a fortnight later Bishop Kaye appointed him to the Prebend of Stow in Lindsay, Lincoln. He held both till his death in 1852. It was as a writer for the Times that he made his mark. He was a great benefactor for the library to which he left his large collection of chronicles, histories and memoirs in English, French and Italian: also this bust. [PBR vol II pp329]
