A Parker fountain pen in a cardboard box.
The pen is black plastic, with a metal band at the join between the nib and the holder. It has a grey metal top with a silver coloured pocket clip which incorporates the Parker insignia. There is a silver band round the bottom of the cap.
The hinged box consists of a gold coloured edging around the satin lining that supports the pen. The inside of the lid is covered with similar material and has the Parker insignia in gold and the word 'Parker' printed in black.
On the lid is written 'Pen used by HRH The Queen' which suggests that it may have been used on the Royal visit to Dingwall in 1964.
