Earthenware wine jar with basket surround.
Produced for William Mackenzie, Wine Merchant, Dingwall. Earthenware jar set in a woven basket which has two handles one of which is broken. It has a golden brown glaze and on the top in large letters it says "William Mackenzie, Wine Merchant, Dingwall" and in smaller letters "A. W. Buchan, Portobello, Scotland". On the lip there is a large '2'.
