Circular pocket watch with a small ring at the top, no chain attached. The watch is contained within a separate circular metal casing, open to the front. The watch face has a glass covering, which has a top-hinged opening. The hour numbers around the edge of the face are painted on in Roman numerals against a white background. On the outer rim, the minute numbers are in Arabic numbers. There is a small circular hole in the back casing of the watch into which a key can be inserted to wind it up.
