Fireman's helmet from Dingwall Fire Brigade.
A black leather peaked helmet with a long back which creates protection for the neck, and a leather ridge like a crest on the top. The visor is rimmed with brass, and from the peak to the front of the ridge runs a decorative brass strip. At the very top is a brass badge of a dragon's head. Above the ears are two round decorated brass knobs. There is a narrow leather chin strap. Inside the helmet is a loose leather lining the front half of which is in triangular segments, this can be threaded with tape and pulled to adjust the size to suit the wearer.
