Seven small drawings contained within a rectangle shape, possibly done in preparation for the 'Sex and Matisse' series. Each drawing has a page number attached to it. On the reverse is a drawing of a bust of a women wearing a hat, this ties in with one of the sketches on the other side of the page and also with one of the 'Sex and Matisse' prints. Drawn in pencil. These may be studies taken from a book about Matisse. The first drawing, of the woman with a hat, became the screenprint 'Carmine Sex'.
