"This print is intended to be a tribute to the memory of Carlos Almaraz and to those that have also died from AIDS. The image of the cross coming from the head/photograph of Almaraz is combined/appropriated with few symbols from Carlos own iconography, developed with my own treatment and color perception." J.A.
