Print shows a man dressed in a suit and seated beside a camp fire, in a vividly coloured landscape. He leans against a tree and holds a sausage on a forked stick in his hand. Printed in two blues, two pinks, orange, yellow, two greens, black and brown ink.
In an interview with Glasgow Print Studio on 21st June 2010, the artist explained that he hadn't planned it to be so colourful but liked the colours as it developed. He hadn’t done any silkscreen prints for a while prior to the pair of Achilles and Man with Sausage. They were made as a pair with even though one is bigger than the other. Wiszniewski added, “in a way they’re a blast from the past because they’re going back to ‘Po-et’ but the colour’s a bit more vivid. I just found it interesting doing it as a change.”
