Katherine Jones is a contemporary British artist who combines painting and traditional printmaking techniques and was elected as a Royal Academician in 2022.
Her publications, 'Blowsy' and 'Sunburst', are the continuation of a theme she began a couple of years prior about time and the way it loops and repeats during the year. For Jones, seasonal smells, tastes and sounds continually bring to the fore an ever increasing bank of lived experiences and with each repeated season there is a reassuring sense of continuity into the future.
