Image of an individual tulip, purple petals with red highlights, and green stem. Printed in purple, red and green ink - etching and spit-bitten aquatint on two copper plates. Plate I: rouge ardent and premixed green, plate II: premixed purple. In addition to being produced as an individual print, the image was printed as part of a set of four images of tulips, 'Four Tulips' (2001-2).
