Image of a naked female figure standing in a field, with a backdrop of fields and hills. A naked man is lying in a large cloud in the sky. Printed in light green, yellow, pink and red ink. The artist writes; "The title of 'The Perilous Dream Lover', was taken from a piece of Jungian writing warning of the dangers of living in fantasy, and the image related strongly to a large painting I'd done, 'She Could Bear Sorrow Without Breaking', which I'd exhibited in a joint show with Marie Barbour in the Print Studio Gallery in 1989. The print was published by GPS, and John Taylor, who was brilliantly supportive of me and my work, printed the edition." Elise Allan studied at Glasgow School of Art and has been exhibiting regularly since 1979.
