Pencil drawing showing a male figure wearing a hat and standing in a landscape beside a millstone. This is a drawing on tracing paper which was used to create a soft-ground etching. Relates to print GLAPS.2008.699. Although it was made as a print it was not a publication and does not seem to have been used to create an edition. In an interview with Glasgow Print Studio on 21st June 2010, the artist explained that "the figure seems to relate very strongly with a painting I did called ‘Master Gardener’, which is in Australia - I had an exhibition in Sydney. You’ll see the same figure. He seems to be making a print, doesn’t he, in some sort of way? Or grinding something. It’s quite a nice image.”
