Poster for event 'The Loveliest Night of the Year', a Midsummer Nights Dream Ball, held at Winter Gardens of the Peoples Palace, on 20th June 1987. Event open from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m, tickets £10 -£15. Poster features woodland scene with owls, animals and a female figure. Printed in black, blue, light blue and aqua green ink. A newspaper article in the press cuttings file at Glasgow Print Studio includes an article about the upcoming Ball and a picture of Julie Robertson and John Taylor with the poster. The article states that shortly after being printed, the posters were slashed with an X shape to deter people from stealing them. A framed, signed and unslashed copy was offered as a raffle prize at the Ball.
