Minenkulu Ngoyi is a draftsman and printmaker based in South Africa whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, in Italy, the United States, France, the Netherlands, and Germany. His art questions, challenges, and ridicules colonialism. Through bringing to light past wrongs, he creates space for a renewed dialogue. Ngoyi employs words, symbols, and the icons of popular media, as well as historical references in his distinctive compositions. His artistic practice incorporates both screen printing and engraving techniques.
Ngoyi was a resident artist at Glasgow Print Studio in the Spring of 2025.
