Image with two heads, a table with jug, cup and saucer and horse, set against an abstract patterned background. Printed in blue ink. This was one of several etchings made by Wiszniewski on etching plates which had been pre-prepared with hard ground by Glasgow Print Studio. The artist then took them to Liverpool, where he was working as artist in residence at the Walker Art Gallery, to work on them in his own time. They were later brought back to Glasgow and printed in the GPS workshop.
In an interview with Glasgow Print Studio on 21st June 2010, the artist stated;
“Once again 1986, and it’s one from the same batch. So you can see a number of sketches lying around. My wife did that horse. She was doing a wee sketch of a horse and it was lying there. We were in Liverpool at the Walker Art Gallery on a residency. There were plates lying around the house and she just did a drawing of a horse. I brought it up here and proofed it. It was only when I selected the colour and the use of the acid that it became this.”
