Image with elongated channels in blue-grey at the centre. Surrounding this is mustard-coloured textured background with areas of the same blue grey including a horizontal shape along top of image. In an interview at Glasgow Print Studio on 11th May 2011, the artist explained that the print was influenced by a newspaper photograph of somewhere in the Middle East, maybe Egypt, that had problems after a change in government. He was interested in the curious vertical structure (a dam) in the photograph. With this print he wanted a contrast of cool colours against the ochre, giving a sense of the desert with a man-made structure. The textures of ochre also contrast with the clean lines of the vertical structure.
