Dining plate decorated with painting of Petrel on front. Painting dated 1990. Japanese symbol in circle on plate. Decoration added in 1990 by Lyle Craigie-Halkett et al. Image made by covering plate in black paint/ink and then scratching away to reveal white outline of 'MV Petrel'. Inscription around the edge of the plate reads: 'In appreciation of your / assistance & comradeship' 'Marine Salvage Services / (The Salvesen Team)' 'Lyle, Rob / Owen, Arthur'.
