Whale cannon

75mm whale cannon No 529 H Bofors. Large cannon, painted grey with black stand. Wooden bung in end of cannon. Long metal sight mounted on top of the cannon, painted black. The stand has a number of holes in it to attach to ship. Handle SGHT.1992.1.029 attached to cannon. Brass base, handle would have been wooden but only a stump inside the brass attachment remains.
