This letter in envelope is from K Muraji, manager of the Japanese whaling company operating in Grytviken, South Georgia. It is addressed to the Whaling Inspector in Grytviken. In the letter, K. Muraji apologises for whaling infractions where gunners have shot and taken in lactating whales.
